  • Assistant Transportation Mechanic (will train) - Must be able to obtain ASE diesel/air brakes certification, work on school buses. Must be able to obtain CDL Class B with passenger endorsement. Full time, 12 month contracted position with benefits, salary pending qualifications. Level 9.
  • Purchasing Clerk - Coordinate all activities involved in procuring goods and services for the school district. Process requisitions, purchase orders, obtain verbal and written quotes, maintain vendor file, and administer the bidding processes in accordance with state procurement laws. Assist with Accounts Payable. Prepare governing board agenda items. Requires excellent computer and accounting skills. Prefer public school or government agency purchasing experience. 12 month position with benefits. Level 6.
  • Reading Paraprofessional - Desert View Elem - Provide assistance to students who are in need of remediation or intervention primarily in the area of reading under the supervision of a certified reading specialist. Requires 60 credit hours or an AA degree. 9 month position with benefits, Level 4.
  • Crossing Guard - Man the crosswalks to stop traffic for students who walk to and from school. Morning and afternoon duty, approx. 2 to 3 hours per day. Hourly position, no benefits. Level 1.
  • School Bus Drivers -  Must be able to obtain CDL – Bus Driver training is available – Hourly and contracted/benefited positions available. Level 6.
